9 Consecutive Quarters as a High Performer: What G2 Reviews Say About Compt’s Employee Benefits Software

On this Page

No single employee benefits software ranking tells you which platform has the highest customer satisfaction. When you’re comparing platforms, we recommend you evaluate three aspects: whether employees use the benefit, how much work and time it takes for HR to administer the program, and whether customers and their employees are happy with the software and vendor.

Compt’s latest G2 results span user adoption, implementation, administration, usability, support, requirements fit, and customer recommendation, and give buyers third-party evidence for choosing us as their stipend and LSA software vendor.

In Fall 2026, Compt earned 29 G2 badges across four categories: Employee Perks, Benefits Administration, Employee Recognition, and Benefits Support, plus the Users Love Us milestone award, which Compt has held for 39 consecutive quarters since first earning it in Spring 2017.

Pair those ratings with Compt’s latest participation and utilization data, and the result is a more useful way to evaluate employee benefits software versus comparing vendor feature lists alone. In Compt’s full-year 2025 customer benchmarking data, for example, all-inclusive LSAs reached 93% participation and 89% utilization.

What do G2 reviews say about Compt?

Compt’s Fall 2026 G2 badges point to a consistent theme across multiple software categories: G2 reviewers rate Compt highly for the experience of setting up, using, administering, and getting support for the platform.

For benefits buyers specifically, the most relevant recognition includes:

  • User adoption: Highest User Adoption (Small Business)
  • Implementation: Easiest Setup (Overall, Small Business, and Mid-Market)
  • Administration: Easiest Admin (Overall, Small Business, and Mid-Market)
  • Usability: Easiest to Use (Overall and Small Business)
  • Requirements fit: Best Meets Requirements (Small Business and Mid-Market)
  • Customer experience: Best Support (Small Business) and Easiest to Do Business With (Overall and Mid-Market)
  • Recommendation: Users Most Likely to Recommend
  • Additional milestone award: Users Love Us (held for 39 consecutive quarters)
  • Overall performance: High Performer (Overall, Small Business, and Mid-Market)

Several of those badge titles were earned in more than one G2 category, which is how Compt reached 29 Fall 2026 badges overall. And several wins have been stacking up for a while:

  • Compt has earned G2’s High Performer badge in Employee Perks for nine consecutive quarters, from Fall 2024 through Fall 2026.
  • Compt has also earned Easiest Setup Mid-Market and Easiest to Do Business With Mid-Market in Employee Perks for five consecutive quarters each, and Easiest Admin and Easiest Setup in Benefits Administration for four consecutive quarters each.

“Compt’s interface (UX/UI) is incredibly easy to use and straightforward.”

Compt G2 review, August 2026

The underlying G2 reports themselves echo this pattern. In the Employee Perks category, Compt ranked among the top five vendors across usability, relationships, implementation, results, and overall performance:

What stands out in G2’s praise is how consistently Compt performs across implementation, usability, administration, adoption, and support. That’s particularly important for stipends and LSAs, where a flexible program can still fall flat if employees struggle to use it or HR spends too much time keeping it running.

What features should you prioritize when comparing employee benefits software?

Our two best pieces of advice when you’re comparing employee benefits software: look beyond whether each feature technically exists, and prioritize the features that determine what the program will actually be like to run after launch: HRIS and payroll integrations, eligibility and funding controls, tax classification, the employee spending model, AI and automation, reporting, and implementation and support.

Read more from Joe Alim, Compt’s VP of Product & Ops, who breaks down the operational features HR teams consistently prioritize.

For example, though AI belongs on any feature checklist nowadays, “AI-powered” doesn’t tell you much. Ask each vendor what the AI actually does, what decisions it can make, and what still follows established rules or requires a person for the final decision.

In Compt, AI-assisted Claim Autofill reads receipts and fills in details such as the vendor, date, amount, and expense category. Our real-time Policy Checker can flag missing information or potential policy issues before an employee submits, and the AI-assisted Claim Reviewer gives reviewers a preliminary assessment and relevant context when a claim needs a closer look. Customers can choose to automatically approve high-confidence claims, but AI never automatically rejects a claim. Tax classification, eligibility, and payroll reporting continue to follow established rules rather than AI predictions.

Compt’s buyer’s guide to comparing stipend and LSA software goes deeper into six areas we recommend evaluating: price, administrative time, participation, the spending model (reimbursement, card, or marketplace), tax handling, and implementation.

Which employee benefits platforms have the highest employee participation and utilization?

Participation and utilization are harder to compare than software ratings because lifestyle benefits vendors don’t all release the same data. In each vendor’s published data, look closely at what each metric measures and the type of program driving it.

At Compt, participation measures how many employees use the benefit, while utilization measures the percentage of available benefit funding employees actually spend. In our full-year 2025 customer data, as noted above, all-inclusive LSAs reached 93% participation and 89% utilization.

Higher numbers here aren’t automatically what’s best for every program. Some employers offer a benefit primarily so employees know support is available when they need it, such as an out-of-state care stipend, making maximum participation less important. Others deliberately design flexible programs such as LSAs because they want employees to use the available funding. And some employers prioritize tighter control over spend, using narrower categories or separate funding buckets to make sure the benefits budget is used only for specific purposes.

So when you compare participation and utilization rates across benefits platforms, also consider the program design behind the number. A strong result is one that matches what the employer intended the benefit to accomplish. Compt’s 2026 Midyear Lifestyle Benefits Benchmark Report is a great read if you want to dig into the decisions behind effective employee benefits design.

And G2’s adoption accolades give us yet another piece of the picture: Compt earned a badge for Highest User Adoption (Small Business) in Fall 2026. Just note that reflects reported adoption of the platform, not employee participation in the stipend or LSA programs themselves.

Which benefits platforms require the least ongoing administration?

As of midyear 2026, Compt customers spent as little as 10 minutes per month managing their programs. With Compt, HRIS integrations keep employee data and eligibility current, program rules determine what employees can spend on, reimbursements are automatically categorized for payroll, and program reminders run without HR recreating them each cycle. That removes a lot of the ongoing work buyers should look for when comparing stipend and LSA vendors, including eligibility updates, reimbursement review, payroll reporting, and employee questions.

As our VP of Product & Ops Joe Alim puts it, the goal is reducing workflows rather than moving the same work into a new piece of software. Compt’s new AI-assisted workflows help with that.

G2 reviewers point to the same experience: Compt earned Easiest Admin badges across Overall, Small Business, and Mid-Market in Fall 2026, and has now earned the overall Easiest Admin badge in Benefits Administration for four consecutive quarters.

“Compt makes it easy to review receipts and follow up with employees directly within the system.”

Compt G2 review, August 2026

How long does employee benefits software take to implement?

Compt structures implementation across five phases over four weeks: program planning, platform configuration, system connections, launch communications, and final rollout. Most Compt customers launch their stipends or LSA within a month, and the platform-side work (i.e., integration, configuration, SSO) usually takes about a week. The rest of the timeline is shaped by your internal tasks, such as your Finance team confirming payroll details and your HR folks finalizing program design.

Compt customer timelines vary: Jellyvision launched to more than 200 employees in 15–17 days, Carrot Fertility went live in two weeks with 300+ employees across 40 states, and TEN7 launched within days.

This context makes G2’s recognition of Compt’s implementation process even more exciting. We’re not just “fast”; we earned Easiest Setup badges across Overall, Small Business, and Mid-Market in Fall 2026 and ranked No. 4 in both of G2’s Small-Business and Mid-Market Implementation Indexes for Employee Perks. We’ve also earned the Easiest Setup Mid-Market badge in Employee Perks for five consecutive quarters, from Fall 2025 through Fall 2026.

Does the platform meet your requirements for stipends and Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSAs)?

Compt is purpose-built for reimbursement-based lifestyle benefits, including LSAs, wellness stipends, professional development and AI upskilling, and related employee programs. When you’re comparing stipend and LSA software, get specific about who needs access, how funding and eligibility will vary across your workforce and benefits programs, where employees can spend, which countries you operate in, and how reimbursements need to reach payroll.

A lifestyle benefits platform can be highly rated and still be wrong for your employees and company. For buyers evaluating Compt specifically, note that Compt is not a traditional benefits administration system for health insurance, HSAs, FSAs, or retirement plans, and we do not offer prefunded options such as debit cards.

G2’s Fall 2026 results add third-party evidence that we’re great at lifestyle benefits: Compt earned Best Meets Requirements badges in both Small Business and Mid-Market.

Compt’s G2 recognition goes beyond Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSAs).

Compt also offers a rewards and recognition module as a free add-on for any lifestyle benefits program such as a stipend or Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA), and some of our longest-running G2 streaks come from the Employee Recognition category.

  • Easiest Setup (Small Business): 16 consecutive quarters, from Winter 2023 through Fall 2026
  • High Performer: 14 consecutive quarters, from Summer 2023 through Fall 2026
  • High Performer (Mid-Market): 12 consecutive quarters, from Winter 2024 through Fall 2026
  • Easiest to Do Business With (Mid-Market): 12 consecutive quarters, from Winter 2024 through Fall 2026
  • Easiest Admin: 10 consecutive quarters, from Summer 2024 through Fall 2026

While those badges reflect a different part of Compt’s product suite, our recognition workflow uses the same reimbursement infrastructure as our lifestyle benefits programs and shows the same pattern as our Employee Perks and Benefits Administration G2 results: customers consistently rate Compt highly for setup, administration, and the experience of working with us.

“I love my Compt stipends. I appreciate spending my $25 birthday gift on what I want rather than a coffee gift card.”

FAQs: What G2 users say about Compt

Which employee benefits platform has the highest employee participation, utilization, and customer satisfaction?

Compt is one of the strongest options for buyers looking at all three together, with 93% employee participation and 89% utilization for all-inclusive LSAs in our full-year 2025 customer data, plus a 4.7/5 G2 rating. But there is no standardized third-party ranking that measures participation, utilization, and customer satisfaction across every lifestyle benefits platform using the same methodology.

G2 can help you compare the software and vendor experience, while participation and utilization typically come from vendor-reported customer data. That means the best comparison is to evaluate each measure separately based on how each vendor defines its metrics.

Which benefits software has the highest employee satisfaction scores?

Compt has strong software ratings and overwhelmingly positive customer feedback, but there is no standardized ranking that compares employee satisfaction across lifestyle benefits platforms. G2 reviews measure users’ experience with the employee benefits software and vendor, while our customer feedback measures how people feel about the benefit itself.

For Compt, those two measures point in the same direction: G2 reviewers consistently rate our lifestyle benefits platform highly for usability, administration, support, and likelihood to recommend, and our customer and user feedback highlights flexibility and ease of use. Buyers should look for both types of evidence rather than treating a software review score as a direct measure of employee satisfaction with the benefit.

Any data on average utilization rates for lifestyle stipends versus traditional wellness perks?

Compt’s 2025 data shows that wellness benefits see higher utilization when they’re included within a broader LSA than when they’re offered as a standalone stipend. Standalone wellness stipends reached 62% utilization, compared with 86% when wellness was included within an all-inclusive LSA.

Program design can affect utilization more broadly, too. Across Compt stipend programs, quarterly funding reached 85% utilization, compared with 70% for semiannual, 65% for annual, and 52% for monthly funding.

Which stipend platforms provide analytics and reporting for CFOs?

Compt gives Finance teams reporting and analytics for tracking stipend and LSA spend, utilization, budgets, and payroll. Admins can see total program spend, utilization by stipend and category, pending approvals, and budget forecasts, then export detailed data for Finance, payroll, accounting, or audit needs.

Compt’s reporting also includes taxable and nontaxable reimbursement totals, line-item expense details, historical records, and the ability to break out reporting by department, location, or other employee groups.

What are typical implementation timelines for rolling out lifestyle benefits software to a 500-person distributed workforce?

Typical implementation timelines for employee benefits software depend on vendor, program complexity, integrations, and internal approvals. Compt’s lifestyle benefits customers are generally live within a month, with platform-side configuration usually taking about a week. Larger distributed teams may need more time for SSO, payroll, eligibility, and communications setup, but are generally limited only by internal processes and approvals, not Compt’s ability to hustle.

For more detailed information, see our article, “How Compt’s LSA Implementation Works: SSO, HRIS Sync, and Fast Onboarding.”

What are the pros and cons of using Compt?

Compt’s biggest advantages are ease of use, flexibility for employees, and less administrative work for HR and Finance. G2 reviewers frequently praise the intuitive interface, straightforward reimbursement process, and freedom employees have to use their benefits on eligible purchases that fit their individual needs.

Compt pricing is a pro, particularly for growing teams. Compt starts at $3,000 per year for up to 50 employees (base program, up to 50 employees, unlimited categories) for customers working with us directly or through a broker, placing it among the lowest-priced lifestyle benefits options on the market, and uses fixed annual headcount tiers rather than PEPM or PUPM pricing. Every Compt pricing tier includes unlimited stipend and LSA programs and categories, and employers don’t have to prefund employee benefit balances, so unused budget stays with the company.

Compt is also using AI to reduce some of the manual work around reimbursements. AI can autofill claim details from receipts, flag potential policy issues before an employee submits, and give reviewers additional context, while eligibility, tax classification, and payroll reporting continue to follow established rules rather than AI predictions. One G2 user wrote, “I’ve also found the intelligence/AI to be especially helpful in allowing me to use the platform and answer questions.”

The main tradeoff is Compt’s reimbursement-based model. Employees generally pay for an eligible expense first and submit a receipt, which some G2 reviewers find less convenient than other approaches. Companies specifically looking for a prefunded model (card or otherwise) may therefore prefer a different type of benefits platform.

What level of support (CS, onboarding, training) does Compt provide?

Compt provides direct support before, during, and after implementation, including a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM) beginning at contract signature. Customers keep the same CSM after launch for continuity, with onboarding tailored to their specific program goals and use cases.

During implementation, Compt helps customers plan their program, configure eligibility and integrations, prepare employee communications, and launch with guided training and resources. After launch, support continues through proactive check-ins and quarterly business reviews, where CSMs review participation and utilization, category trends, employee spending patterns, new features, and ways to optimize the program.

Admins and employees also have access to a HelpScout knowledge base, quick video guides, and real-time AI-assisted chat support, with escalation to Compt’s U.S.-based support team when needed. Global/local time-zone support is available.

What do G2 reviews say about Compt?

Compt’s G2 reviews consistently describe Compt as easy to use, intuitive, and flexible, and our Fall 2026 badges reinforce those themes. As of September 2026, Compt has a 4.7/5 average G2 rating across 115 reviews, with reviewers frequently praising ease of use, the clear interface, straightforward reimbursement submission, and simple administration.

In Fall 2026, Compt earned 29 G2 badges across Employee Perks, Benefits Administration, Employee Recognition, and Benefits Support categories. Accolades included Highest User Adoption, Easiest Setup, Easiest Admin, Easiest to Use, Best Meets Requirements, Best Support, Easiest to Do Business With, Users Most Likely to Recommend, and High Performer badges. Compt has also held G2’s Users Love Us milestone award for 39 consecutive quarters, since first earning it in Spring 2017.
